It's happened to you. You hear the word "solecism" three times in one week. You find men's room graffiti written in Latin. You move across the country and run into someone you went to grade school with. Then you file it away with all your other weird little stories.

This is a place to share these stories. There's only two rules:

1) A WLS has to be true.

2) It has to be your WLS, i.e. the story has to have happened to you, or at the very least you have to have personally witnessed it.
